2007 has turned into one of the most productive years of my entire life. Increasing demand in my primary profession has reached the point of requiring a major amount of my daily time, and it is a difficult, but determined decision to cut back on my activity in the retail selling (gun shows) and dedicate 97% of my efforts towards the work that was generating larger income opportunities.
After discussing my plan with Alan Tiller, we agreed that I would sell my interests in the Real Wilmington Gun Show to Jack Flack. Jack assumed my share of the work and operations, and I became just another dealer at this and two other venues in NC.
Glowing reports of a great show continue to come in for attendees and loyal dealers are coming back show after show. Their recurring presence is indicitive of the volume of sales they are gaining. I probably will not exhibit at the next show due to commitments overseas, but I plan to come back to future shows as soon as I am back in the states.
I am confident Jack will do a great show, run a clean and "Real Gun Show" true to our original vision. The show will go on!
My profound thanks to our thousands of supporters and repeat customers. I ask you to please support this activity at all future Real Wilmington Gun Shows. Both Jack and Alan have assured me the tradition and policies of the past shows will continue. And as Miguel De Cervantes said "The brave man carves out his fortune and every man is the son of his own works."
